Creation-care resources recommended by the EFCACreation

In the Winter 2008 issue of EFCA Today, the following resources were recommended on caring for creation:

  • www.action.org - denominational statements of the Evangelical Free Church of America (EFCA)

  • Care of Creation - evangelical, environmental group active in world missions

  • Restoring Eden - how stewardship might affect our lifestyle and how we can advocate on behalf of those without a voice

  • The Green Bible - highlighted Scripture on creation-care, plus input from Christian conservationists, theologians and practioners. Call #: BT695.5 .G74 1993

  • Relevant - magazine written by and for 20-something Christians, often addressing issues of environmental stewardship. Last few years available in the library.

  • Crunchy Cons: How Birkenstocked Burkeans, gun-loving organic gardeners, evangelical free-range farmers, hip home-schooling mamas... plan to save America (or at least the Republican Party), by Rod Dreher. Call #: HN90.M6 D74 2006
