Dean of Students

Susan Greener, PhD, has been the Dean of Students for TEDS/TGS, since July 1, 2005. Dr. Greener has held roles with Mission of Mercy, as Director of Programs, and with Compassion International, as a Senior Human Development Specialist. She was also a faculty member at Berry College and guest lecturer at the University of Illinois. Originally from Illinois, Dr. Greener attended Wheaton College and received a BA in Psychology from Blackburn College. She received her MS and PhD in Human Development from the University of Illinois. Dr. Greener applies her understanding of human development and her experience in cross-cultural ministry to the needs of the TEDS/TGS students. Her academic background as a professor giver her understanding and empathy for the needs of both graduate and seminary students. Susan and her husband Jay live in Deerfield and have three grown children. In her spare time Susan loves to read and spend time with family.
