Master of Divinity

Trinity's Master of Divinity (MDiv) is intended for those pursuing professional ministry or an academic career in biblical or theological disciplines. This program prepares you for ministry through the integration of biblical content, cultural awareness, ministerial skills, and practical experience. Brought together, these four areas provide a foundation on which you can build a ministry unique to your context and calling. The MDiv is also the prerequisite degree for Doctor of Ministry (DMin) programs and is the recommended graduate degree for those intending to pursue advanced theological study (ThM, PhD). As a ministerial preparation program, Trinity's MDiv is distinctive in its focus on the original languages, on the importance of Scripture, and on the necessity of cultural engagement. If ministry is taking the whole gospel, as recorded in the Scriptures, and applying it in word and deed to the unique situations of today, then the MDiv at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School will prepare you for ministry.
