Looking for a NON-SMOKING, MALE roommate to share a 2BR 1.75Bath condo with in-unit washer/dryer. Central heating and air conditioning is FREE.
The place has a great vibe, having been painted last year in a contemporary color scheme. There is new carpeting in the bedrooms and the common areas have wood floors. The common living areas are fully furnished with mostly newer, dark leather furniture. The large master bedroom has ample closet space and 8 feet of floor-to-ceiling bookshelves. The full kitchen with eat-in counter has a dishwasher (which I use all the time), microwave, and an external vent. The kitchen is also fully stocked with pots, dishes, and utensils. It’s a first floor unit with patio access and plenty of parking. I’m about 15 minutes from campus (without traffic) and less than 5 minutes from the Metra, Hawthorn Shopping Mall, and lots of restaurant options.
I’m fairly laid-back, but best of all, I’ll be out of the country probably half the year. I’m in ministry and international development (I guess some would call that missions), which means you’ll pretty much have the place to yourself. The only utility you’ll need to cover is electricity, which averages about $35-45/mo. I don’t use cable or a land line phone, but I am willing to sharing internet as well as electricity costs when I’m in town.
