Health Services
Health Services is committed to putting Christ first by providing personal, quality health care to students at our campus facility and through proper referral, and by promoting wellness through healthy lifestyle choices and appropriate self-care.
Cost
There is no fee for office visits or care received in Health Services. However, there is a minimal charge on your school bill for lab tests.
Confidentiality
Complete confidentiality is maintained in all services offered to students. No information will be released, either verbally or in writing, without your written consent, except when a student becomes a serious health threat to himself/herself or to others. In this case, the Dean of Students will be contacted.
Services Provided to Students and Spouses
- MD Appointments - Free
- Walk -In visits with Registered Nurse for treatment of minor illnesses and injuries - Free
- Referrals to physicians, dentists, and health care facilities
- Health Counseling
- Blood Pressure Monitoring
- Required Immunizations
MMR Immunizations
TB testing
Tetanus/Diphtheria immunizations (when available)
Flu Shots
Strep Tests
- Urinalysis - Free
Note: Illinois law requires all new students born after January 1, 1957, and enrolled for more than five (5) credit hours to document immunity to measles, rubella, mumps, and tetanus/diphtheria prior to enrollment.
