Trinity College

Transfer Students

Transfer applicants are welcome at Trinity!

Approximately one third of the new students each year are transfers. A graduate of a Bible institute or community college with a breadth of courses may wish to consider the General Studies major, an interdisciplinary program which allows entrance to advanced areas of study.

To apply for admission to Trinity, a transfer student, in addition to the standard application process, must submit all official college and final high school transcripts. Transfers with a cumulative of 12 credit hours in non-technical credits are not required to submit ACT/SAT scores.

Once accepted to Trinity International University, transfer work will be evaluated. (Those wishing an evaluation sooner should make that request to the Admissions Office.) Transfer credit may be granted for "C" or better work from an accredited college or Bible institute. While practicing a fairly liberal transfer policy, the university reserves the right to accept only courses that are equivalent in content, objectives, and extent to those offered by Trinity. Students may receive credit for subjects not offered at Trinity but validated by the University Registrar.

A maximum of sixty-four (64) semester hours from two-year degree granting institutions are transferable. At least thirty (30) of the last forty-five (45) hours must be taken at Trinity. A minimum of nine (9) upper division credits in the major must be earned while in residence.
