The Timothy Award
The Timothy Award Banquet was held in April 2008 in the ATO Chapel. This year's winners are Timothy Jager and Ruth Kratzer. Click here for the story. The Timothy Award is the athletic department's highest award. It is given each year to a male and female athlete who exemplify the ideals and goals of the Trinity International University athletic program. Recipients of this award have demonstrated excellence in competition, in academic pursuits, and in personal growth and character. Their excellence in these areas has impacted the Trinity International University community and the world beyond, setting an example for all of us to follow. "But you... pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, and gentleness. Fight the good fight of the faith. Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity." 1 Timothy 4:12, 6:11-12 Past Award Recipients:2007 Alexandra Majesty, Senior, Basketball Tim Jeanson, Senior, Soccer 2006 Michelle Whelan, Volleyball and Basketball Jeremy Fowler, Baseball 2005 Rachel Gunderson, Senior, Volleyball Nathan Slavens, Senior, Football | 2004 Stephanie Whelan, Senior, Volleyball & Basketball Ryan Betscher, Senior, Football 2003 Steph Frey, Junior, Women's Soccer & Basketball Dave Neuhausel, Senior, Football 2002 Megan deBoer, Senior, Women's Soccer Eric Jackson, Senior, Men's Soccer |
